Hundreds of Homeschoolers Across the Nation Diagnosed with Overschedulitis

A state of emergency has been declared in the homeschool community as the chronic debilitating disease known as Overschedulitis has become the fastest spreading in the world. Overschedulitis has exploded among young homeschooling families, especially those with children between the ages of 6 and 17.

Just yesterday, an entire family was rushed to emergency after being diagnosed with a serious case of Overschedulitis, including the tell-tale symptoms of hockey practice twice a week, co-op Wednesday mornings, Bible study Wednesday evenings, violin lessons on Fridays, flute lessons on Saturdays, two church services on Sundays, swimming lessons on Mondays, and a family gathering next Tuesday after Aunt Patty’s funeral.

“They were in the final stages of Overschedulitis,” ER representative Dr. Mindy Jones said. “If they had gone without treatment for another day it might have been fatal to their family ties.”

The rise in Overschedulitis among homeschoolers seems to be due to homeschool families’ resistance to Overschedulitis vaccines, Jones explained. “The government medical system has never been able to vaccinate a single homeschooled child yet, not even for Overschedulitis, to which homeschoolers are particularly prone,” she confided.

To stop the spread of Overschedulitis, doctors are advising homeschoolers to stay home and avoid public events.
