Math Margin Doodles Bring Millions at Local Art Auction
Art enthusiasts bid each other up into the millions last Saturday over the Mathart created by budding artist Seth Goossen, 14.
“His work is amazing,” Amanda Trusten, winner of the most prized piece, said. “Mathart is becoming all the rage - and his drawings of swords and suits of armour are right up there with the best of it. My piece of a horse in full battle array was worth every penny - sorry, nickle,” said Trusten.
Goossen himself was unable to be reached for comment - his mother told reporters he was redoing his math.
