Report: My Little Pony Still Totally Depraved

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — On Sunday, Pastor Hanley of Hope Presbyterian Church preached a powerful and fiery sermon against popular kids show "My Little Pony: The Magic of Friendship." Pastor Hanley urged the congregation not to have wrong thoughts about the series.

He exhorted his brethren fiercely, saying; "Banish all evil thoughts that arise in your mind that the ponies are in any way 'good' in their own strength. Do not be deceived by the devil that through their friendship and apparent 'friendliness' it means they do good works and are good people..."

He continued to condemn and warn against such thoughts. "Each and every one of them are just as corrupt and evil as any other without The Lord's hand of mercy holding back their wickedness."

He continued and concluded the sermon with the need for prayer. "That is why dear brethren," he beseeched the congregation, "We need to pray for these poor ponies who may feel at home and happy in this earthly life, and pray earnestly that God might soften their hearts and they may see their need for The Savior."
