Homeschoolers Accused of Being too Social
“The homeschoolers can’t have everything!”
That was cry of local high school student Alyssa Perkins and her friends.
“I saw these homeschoolers the other day,” said Perkins, “and they just made me so frustrated. They were talking and laughing with each other, just as if they were perfectly happy and comfortable chatting with everyone around them. It’s just not fair!”
Her friend said, “Homeschoolers have a role to fill in society - the awkward, geeky people who are only comfortable in their own home. They just aren’t doing their job.”
“Yeah,” Perkins agreed, “Next thing you know it’s going to be the properly socialized kids who can’t conduct themselves in every social situation.”
