Princess Bride Admits to not being Homeschooled
In a recent interview, Buttercup revealed with regret that she had, unfortunately, been public schooled.
“I would rub my apple for the teacher until I could see my face shining in it by morning,” she recalled. “I would stand at the end of our road saying trustingly, ‘my school bus will come for me.’”
She said that Wesley did not go to school, and would therefore be a much better hero for homeschoolers.
“I know I’ve been a sort of role model for the homeschoolers out there, but Wesley was actually homeschooled, so that is why he says so many more of the witty lines than I do.”
When asked for closing comments, Buttercup said, “Oh, now there’s no public schools for miles, and no one will hear me scream.”
