Local Christian's Knowledge of the Gospel Completely Theoretical

Local Christian Will Johnson has an immaculate understanding of the gospel. If he hears someone else ‘distorting’ it in even the smallest of ways, he will very quickly jump in to ‘defend’ it. “The Gospel is the very center of our faith”, Johnson spoke passionately in an interview. “If we neglect to properly understand it, we really won’t have anything to stand on”.
However, despite having a purportedly ‘rock-solid’ understanding of the gospel, Johnson has no intention of applying it to his own life.
“I know it’s supposed to apply itself to my life and stuff, but I think my head knowledge is enough to get by”, he said as he kicked back onto his couch to commence his fourth hour of playing first-person shooter games.
When reminded that “knowledge puffs up, but love edifies”, Johnson reportedly blushed for a moment, before turning to the screen to deal with his next round of enemies.
