Homeschool Family Runs out of Fruits
Meet John and Cindy Harrison and their children: Love, 17, Joy, 15, Peace, 13, Patience, 11, Kindness, 9, Goodness and Gentleness, 7, Faithfulness, 5, and Self-Control, 3. The problem is, they have another little one on the way.
“We are very excited to welcome her into our family,” said Cindy Harrison. “We just aren’t quite sure what to name her yet.”
Her husband agreed. “I’ve searched through Galatians 5:22, but there don’t seem to be any more fruits listed, and I don’t think we’ve missed any,” said Harrison, before yelling to one of his daughters, “Hey Peace! We do have a Faithfulness, don’t we?”
“Yes,” Peace replied. “We just call her Faithie.”
“I am not sure what to do,” Harrison confessed. “There just aren’t any more fruits, and it would be a little weird to call her Spirit. I figure that’s what we’ll have to do after all, because I don’t think Cindy is up for all the kids it would take if we began on Philippians 4:8.”
