Homeschool Family Discovered with more than Ten Kids that is Not a Family Band
Contrary to popular belief, there is one homeschool family with more kids than yours that can’t sing a note. The Williams family has thirteen children ranging in age from 21 to 3, and they do not play any instruments, they do not sing, and they do not travel the country playing the cello, guitar and double bass or delighting audiences with four part harmony. It does sound shocking, so we asked the Williams family to explain.
“I mean, we just never learned to play instruments or sing in harmony,” Dan, the father, said. “It was not something that me or Liz knew how to do, so we just taught them to read and write instead.”
The kids said that they really wish their family was a family band.
“We just feel really out of the loop,” Mike, 19, said. “All the other big homeschool families we know are always talking about their latest tour.”
“Yeah!” chimed in five-year-old Roseanna. “And my friend Ella can play the flute!”
The Williams family was the one big family that we'd ever heard of that was not a family band - oh, sorry, our mistake. Mr. Williams just came home with a violin.
